Brentwood, TN (March 22, 2017) – Corizon Health’s PharmaCorr Vice President of Clinical Pharmacy Services Peter Lee, Pharm. D., MBA, CCHP, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP). Less than 1 percent of current AMCP members have such a designation.
“This is one of the greatest distinctions bestowed upon a managed care pharmacist,” Dr. Lee said. “This honor would not have been possible without the continuous support of my colleagues at PharmaCorr and Corizon Health.”
The Fellow program was established to recognize individuals who have demonstrated sustained excellence in the pharmacy profession and longstanding commitment and participation in the AMCP. As the 2017 inductee, Dr. Lee will be recognized at the Annual Awards Dinner held during the Academy’s Annual Meeting. This year’s event will be held of March 29, in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Lee has been actively involved with AMCP for 16 years, and has held different AMCP volunteer and leadership positions including chairing AMCP’s Education Affairs Committee and Special Projects Committee. Currently he serves as a Finance Committee member, a leader of Southwest AMCP Affiliate, and a reviewer for the Journal of Managed Care Pharmacy. He also serves as an AMCP Co-Diplomat and Adjunct Professor for University of Oklahoma School of Pharmacy and AMCP Diplomat and Assistant Professor for Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Dr. Lee has received Outstanding Preceptor
Awards from both Oklahoma pharmacy schools.
